Each year the Army, Air Force, Navy and other military bases must dispose of used or unneeded mattresses and furniture, most of which come from the barracks during renovations or are worn out. The Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services (DLA) is trying to find green solutions for their unwanted mattresses and furniture. LRP Recycling will work with the DLA and military bases to help them with their sustainability efforts. LRP Recycling provides all the logistics necessary to remove and transport these mattresses and furniture pieces from any military installation. Our main goal is to prevent these items from ending up in a landfill.

 

Official Documented Proof

Once the mattresses are removed from your facility and recycled, your institution will receive a Certificate of Total Recycling that you can proudly display. The certificate will document that no items from your facility have ended up in a landfill as well as the weights and process types used to recycle the mattresses.
